Gigabyte has recently presented a new addition to their suite of mini PC cases with the new Gigabyte Essence which is set to launch in Japan later this week on August 9th for approximately $134.
The latest addition to the gigabyte mini PC range of cases measure 300 x 234 x 74m min size and is equipped with a removable motherboard tray making it easy to access the motherboard when required.
Features of the Gigabyte Essence case include a two front USB 2.0 ports and a 2.5 inch shadow bay that is capable of accepting solid state disk (SSD) storage of up to 9.5mm in thickness. The new Gigabyte case is also equipped with a 120 W power supply. Gigabyte explains:
“Equipped with a protection circuit according to (OTP) overvoltage protection (OVP), over current protection (OCP), short circuit protection (SCP), overload protection (OPP), over temperature protection, safety certification CB, CE, PSE, ICCC, I am getting TUV, and UL.”
